Wednesday 1st April 2009 – Desert Palm secured two awards and one ‘Highly Commended’ accolade in last night’s fifth annual Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2009. Rare won ‘Best Steakhouse Restaurant’ and also came ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best New Restaurant’ category, while Epicure was named ‘Best International Restaurant’.
Per AQUUM FORGING AHEAD IN THE EUROPEAN MARKETS WITH THE APPOINTMENT OF KEY REPRESENTATIVE TCMG
February 1st 2009 – Per AQUUM is delighted to appoint The Conjoint Marketing Group (TCMG) as their retained sales representative in Continental Europe. Their appointment is effective from 1st February 2009 and their remit will initially cover Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland with further growth predicted in 2010.
ADOLFO CAMBIASO LAUNCHES DESERT PALM NATIONS CUP-WORLD NUMBER ONE POLO PLAYER MAKES FIRST APPEARANCE IN THE MIDDLE EAST AT DESERT PALM DUBAI
Tuesday 13th January 2009 – Friday 9th January saw the World’s number one polo player Adolfo Cambiaso and the USA’s number one polo player Nick Roldan, play in the inaugural Desert Palm Nations Cup. The Cup is designed to be a yearly event to celebrate polo in the UAE and highlight the exclusive retreat of Desert Palm Dubai, a Per AQUUM Resort & Spa, as a leading destination in the global polo calendar. This was the first time Cambiaso had played in the Middle East and the event drew a lot of interest from both local and international patrons and enthusiasts of the game.
